Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
The new Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) brings together the resources of the former Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance and the MPCA. The organization' mandate is to help Minnesotans protect, conserve and improve our state's environment, and enhance our quality of life. The environmental issues Minnesota faces today - and will face in the future - call for innovative thinking and collaborative efforts, as well as traditional regulatory approaches. By coordinating assistance, training, permitting, compliance and outreach tools, the new organization is in a better position to address these environmental challenges.
